How to remove frozen bimini hinges and end caps

Bimini hardware is frozen any suggestions on how to loosen set screws and hinge screw?

I normally spray penetrating oil in and let it set for awhile. Then if your allen wrench has been rounded off and is not getting a grip on the set screw, I would grind the tip of it down with a grinder past the rounded off part. What this does besides eliminating the rounded off hex is that it leaves a nice bur at the end. Now take a hammer or leather mallet and tap the burred end of the allen wrench down into the allen set screw and turn. if this doesn't work, drill it out and replace the fitting.

As for the screws on a jaw slide or deck hinge, try the penetrating oil and let it sit for awhile. Then take the largest size flat head screw driver or phillips head that will fit. Couple that with a guy with tremendous upper body strength. Otherwise drill out and replace.
Hope it works for you. Thanks for the question.
