I cleaned my boat covers to remove mold and mildew stains. I had to use some bleach. They came out looking pretty good, but are very sticky to the touch. How do I resolve this?

Hi Mary,
This doesn't sound good to me. Do you know what boat cover material you have on the cover. It may have caused some type of chemical reaction on the fabric, a slight melting if you will and may not come off. The best I think you can do is try starbrites canvas cleaner and see if will remove what ever may be left on the cover and with any luck could wash away.
It is too bad that you made such an effort and wound up with just as much or more of a problem than you started with. Besides Starbrite, there is 303 fabric cleaner and Iosso mold mildew and stain remover that might be helpful as well, all of them good cleaners.
