Non Moving Boat Cover

What if I promised never to use my boat cover for towing or moving at all. Are there lighter weight materials that would last as long or longer? Lighter weight would be easier for me to make, handle, and store when the boat is in use.

That makes me smile, you can move your boat if you want and yes, there are some light boat cover materials that will be easier to use and store.
The balance is making sure that if the cover is light you don't sacrifice much if anything on longevity.
Weathermax 80 is a good bet. It's a 5 year fabric, lighter and eaiser to stow. I am getting some feedback from my peers that you won't get as much longevity with sunbrella. However you will still get a lot of bang for your buck with weathermax 80.
Another fabric is stamoid light. It is 100 % waterproof fabric. It's a really nice long lasting fabric, that cleans up well and looks good for a long time. It's a little more expensive, but worth it. You'll need to vent it well.
Hope this helps, these are the two best light weight fabrics that I think would be a good fit for you.
