my question on roll up window flaps
by: tom in tampa

I came to the same conclusion you did on the matter and have already installed the straps with snaps. I also made an open ended hem at the bottom and inserted a 3/4 wood dowel to add a Little weight and it makes it easy to roll the flap up to secure it. The whole thing turned out quite nice I must say.

Very nice. The dowel is neat little trick to help keep the plastic from sagging in the heat. Another little helper, is a pool noodle rolled up in the panel also helps with sag.
