what material should I use for my total boat cover?

by Dr Jerald Kramer
(Destin Florida)

I have a 435 Everglades with a fishing tower. The boat is kept in a storage facility and the fork lifts emit a black exhaust residue that settles on all aspects of the boats. I am a fanatic about keeping my boat clean. The full cover will be HUGH and hence it must be lightweight. The cover will only be on when the boat is in the building therefore little to no sun exposure. I read that you are not a fan of RIPSTOP, however it would be very light and would keep the boat clean and would be easy to install. Am I making a mistake in considering this material for this application. Thank you so much for your expertise.
