Boat in water all year
by: Jo Ellen

Thanks for the feedback, Tammy. I checked several blogs on the subject and came up with several other good options. Just about everyone went with removing the isinglass and storing them flat. I would normally do that every winter anyway. One solution that caught my eye was to replace them with "black curtains" during the winter, made of canvas. I tinker with sewing projects on my boat with my machine from sailrite, and will work on this over the summer. I think it will also be a good idea to fashion a bridge cover and remove the windows and canvas in that area also. It's worth a try. Thanks again.

Sounds like a great idea Jo Ellen, I love when boaters are willing to try there hand at canvas on their own boats. Good luck.
