pylon and bimini

I installed an extended ski pylon on my ski boat.

The Bimini on my boat 4' long x 36" height and 79' - 84" wide.

As you can see in the picture the Bimini just misses clearing the pylon.

I need about a 2" extension in height to make the clearance.

Are there after market pars that can give me the extension I need?

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,
There are two ways to raise a bimini top and both will move the shade portion of your top further aft unless you move the mounting points.
One way are frame extensions mounted at the base of the longest leg. This will only get you up to 4”.
The other way is to use a tubing extender. It’s a double ended insert part that will allow you to add a piece of tubing of the desired length to each side of the bimini tops longest leg.
These parts come in both stainless steel and nylon and require drilling and setting the part to the tubing to provide stability. As mentioned earlier, each will move the top higher, but also
backwards.
We do offer a variety of extenders. Thanks for reaching out about this, it was a good question.
