CUTTING THE PLASTIC AND SEWING IN ZIPPER WITH SCREENING

HOW HARD IS THIS
I would rate this on a scale from 1-10 of about an 8.
Sewing zippers into the plastic is what makes this fairly difficult. Both of my seamstresses prefer not to do this and will opt to sew just about anything else. Having said that , the degree of quality we expect and turn out here is very high. So the pressure is on them to make clean sewing lines and not fall off the edge of the zipper and puncture the glass. The screen is easy since it can be inserted at the same time the plastic is sewn in.
I am guessing you are thinking of sewing it yourself. Another problem you may run into is all the thickness being to much for a home sewing machine. Feel free to ask more questions, I hope I answered the one you were asking.
