Harbor Time Edge vs Top Gun
by: Tammy

I would go Harbor Time edge if it were me. I like the 30% cooler aspect of the fabric. Both are waterproof.

Follow Up Question To You Answer
by: Dan

Thank you for your response on the Sea Sprae' as I could not find anything on it online. The other two choices the company in my area deals in outside of Sunbrella are either Habor Time Edge or Top Gun. Any thoughts on comparing these two - the Habor Time Edge has a 7 year warranty and the Top Gun 5 but am most concerned about longevity in regards to abrasion, ease of maintenance and breathability vice water repellency. Any further informative opinions would be great appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Sea Sprae
by: Tammy

If I were spending the money to have a custom boat cover made I would not be using a 3 year warranty fabric, which is what Sea Sprae is. Invest your money money in a fabric that will last longer.
I use Sea Sprae and like it, but not for extreme sun situations.
If your looking for a tough fabric for trailering you might consider Top Notch. It has a 8 year warranty and is one of the toughest fabrics out there.
