Hi Pedro,
I would jump on that if it were marine related, but I am so focused on keeping this about marine canvas.
If you noticed you won't even find Google ads on this site.
I want to keep that feel for my boaters.
Thanks for asking about it and sorry to dissapoint you.
I will however post the comment and browers will see the link.
Have you thought about holloween costumes for boats?
Now that would be cool. Let me know if you come up with something like that and I would definatly love to advertise something like that.
Best Regards

Adjustable extenders
by: Chris Reiss

Last comment was incomplete. Sorry. Remove/ignore.

Tammy, thanks for your solutions (1" to 3",) but I don't think they will be higher enough for me and my hat!

The extenders I'd seen before are Bimini Butlers (www.bimini-butlers.com or www.go-ab.com/products.php?product=Bimini-Butler-Top-Height). They are adjustable up to 17", but look a bit ugly, and I don't know whether they're strong enough or lie flat enough for when the Bimini is taken down and one is trailering the boat at 60 mph.

Does any-one know or know of the "Bimini Butler"?

Chris

Found another option
by: Chris Reiss

Tammy, thanks for advice and recommendations, but I don't think 1" to 3" inches will do it esp. if I'm wearing a hat. I eventually found the extenders I saw before; they are called "Bimini Butlers", adjustable to 17". See www.bimini-butler.com, or www.go-ab.com/products.php?product=Bimini-Butler-Top-Height...

They look a little ugly ((construction set-ish) to me, and I don't know whether they lie flat on the gunwales for running at high speeds or when trailering.

Has any-one used them? Had any knowledge of them?

Chris

Chris, they can only be used while at anchor, they aren't meant to be used under weigh at all.
