Keeping a boat cover on while on a lift without straps
by: Tammy

Hi Jim,
I can’t see exactly what is going on, but my first instinct is to say, swap out the drawstring or modify to add a rope ratchet.
Or better yet, a webbing ratchet system instead of rope in the bottom drawstring casing. You can really crank down on a webbing ratchet.
They make awesome boat cover tie downs.
If you don’t have anything but bungee in the bottom, consider taking it somewhere to have this modification made.
If there is more than one break in the cover, you can add a second rope ratchet to really get this thing tight so the wind can’t blow it off.
This is the best way I know to outwit the wind.
Good luck, feel free to upload a photo.
