The problem I am trying to solve is the Winter Winds on the mountain can get really cranked up and the snow blows in on my deck and I was trying to think of a solution that I could use just for the Winter months. I remember our boat having isinglass and wondered if that would work for me in this situation! Let me know what you think. Thanks!
This is something that most marine canvas shops can help with. I have done a few myself here on lake lanier. The trouble is that you don't have may marine canvas shops in boone. Your next best bet will be an awning shop. I am certain you will be able to find one in your area. Will they have the ability, maybe. It really does need to be someone local in order to for you to get a product you will be happy with.
One last point, the plastic gets very brittle in the cold. So once it is down for the season, you will have to leave it alone. Best of luck in this venture. I did a quick google search and there seems to be both canvas and awning shops.
Thanks for checking with me!
