Hi Tony,
Yes you can use hinged jaw slides as bimini top parts to accomplish mounting a to a rail on your fly bridge.

They are not set up for a any type of quick release pin, but all that is needed to accomplish this task is drilling the threads out of the metal. You can start with a 1/4" drill bit, oil the bit and go slow and you will cut right through the threads and should be able to insert the D-cam.

No, there are no eye straps that will clamp onto the rail, however you an also use a hinged jaw slide for this same purpose leaving the screw in place and the screw itself will serve as your hooking point.

All that being done, you will have not drilled any holes in the boat. Great question, thanks for submitting it.
