Hi Dave,
Weathermax 80 is 8 oz and will be a lighter easier to handle boat cover material. It has a 5 year warranty.
Sunbrella is a 9.25 oz fabric. With a 10 year warranty.
Neither are considered waterproof. They are considered highly water resistant. Over time some of that will diminish and may need to be waterproofed.
Chances are that sunbrella will outlast the weathermax, but the weathermax may do better with the water resistance and is lighter weight. So a cover as large as yours, you may be happier with the weathermax 80.
