What type of zipper slider do I need?

by KC

Currently have a 2007 Hurricane Bimini cover with a lenszip non locking slider #10 that has broken. Need to replace the slider. The teeth are in good shape. Just don’t know if this is a coil type zipper metal or hard plastic but it is or should be a marine grade Boat Bimini cover zipper. I did not know if YKK is interchangeable because Lenzip says that it is wider than the YKK. The zipper stop is as shown just a sewn piece of material looped over the end of the zipper, which is great. Just need to replace the zipper sliders, don’t know what type of material the zipper teeth are called and if YKK is better and will replace easily. I may go that route, but Lenzip will work fine as well because that’s the original part. Could I use a locking zipper? I believe the ones I have are non-locking. It’s not crucial, but thought that would maybe help stay in place easier . Just wanna make sure that I ordered the correct slider for this cover. I will probably order 5 total , only 1 broken the other zipper sliders are OK but the others may break due to oxidation and outside elements.

Please include the item number and name for the correct zipper slider, both locking and non-locking that will work for this application please. Or a link for each of these zipper slider types

Thanks for identifying the zipper slider type and zipper teeth/ pattern type.

Hi KC,
Here is the single #10 non-locking slide.

Here is the locking version

Thanks Tammy
