I bought a new pontoon boat in 2013. Had a full camper enclosure made, they used Sure Last. The boat is stored inside in winter. The enclosure had 20 months total exposure over 4 years. I was told it needed to be replaced last summer. The maker says Sunbrella will stretch and cause water to pool. And that its harder to work with. He wants $1500 labor to make one with Surelast and $2300 to make one with Sunbrella.
Will Sunbrella make an enclosure that will last 10 years? Can I expect the stretching problem?
I wont use Sure Last again.
